White Marble chips???

I've heard of people saying they use small marble tiles for attaching frags to. I can't find any small squares of that & non that aren't glazed or polished. Is it possible to use White Marble Chips used for landscaping? They come in pretty nice sized bags from Home Depot or Lowes & are out in the garden section. I know I shouldn't use the ones with coloration in them, but what about the ones that are pure white?

I got a small box (10) white turkish marble in HD. Hit the tile in the center with a small hammer it cracks in 4-5 pieces. been in my tank for aver a month , no sideeffects.
