Tendrils

I have noticed in my sand and on some of the live rock, there are white translucent and red thin tendrils. They emanate from tubes made of sand and move around and bring food items back to the hole. The ones in the rock are in the crevices and seem to do the same thing.

Anyone know what these things are?

Thank you,

I just started up a new 12g and i have the same things. Its kind of weird how they build their tubes out of sand.

A couple of months ago, I noticed an explosion of white pods or larvae which were all over my sump. They also were pumped into my tank. Turns out they were spaghetti worms. They look exactly like miniature versions of the adult worms. I guess they don't taste good, because when they were floating around, the fish would taste then spit it out.
