The most common use of a pH controller is in conjunction with a calcium reactor, to control the CO2 rate, or to shut the reactor off when the pH drops. What problem are you trying to solve?

Most people do not "control" tank pH with chemicals per se. I do not recommend it.

no trying to solve anything really. I have the controller and thought I would put it to use but I guess I will use it to monitor the PH and not to control it...Thanks for the advice...bertoni & Randy

I too have a pH controller, but I only use it to measure the pH.

Good luck.
