Where to get some hose for cheap

Hey guys as some of you know i just move into a house from a 3rd floor apartment. Now WC will be easy for me. I bought Reefmisters 55 G drum i will use that for the WC from the patio. But the thing is i will use a mag 18 pump to pump out the water directly from the sump out the kitchen drain. then to fill it up ill drop the mag in the 55g and pump it back into the sump. but i need about 20 feet of 1 inch hose but thats going to be really expensive. anything else i can use. i plan on something i can put a ball valve to reduce or increase the flow. This way i will stop using those sucky gravel syphons things.

Can i use a garden hose or something like that. Or those anyone have about 10 to 15 feet of clear hose. thanks

Get the hose that you use for RV water hookups, its the white garden hose. Cut the ends off (usually brass) and put what you like on it. I think you can pick up a 25' hose for under $10.

I use a garden hose for my water changes. Just flush it first. The garden hose has chemicals to protect it for the sun and it leachs out in to water left in the hose for a while. I use my garden hose to drain the tank first then refill.

i use a garden hose also, i cut off teh ends also. make sure to get a decent brand? the cheaper ones tend to wrinkle and pinch very easily. make sure to also try to drain all teh water if possible when storing the hose. if not, you will need to flush out the stagnet water when you use it the next time...

Hmm the water hose seems like alot of work and a risk with the chemical thing. That RV hose sounds good is it a one inch diameter. Does that have any chemicals in it???

Thanks all

I think it's 5/8th not one inch. No chemicals, it's for potable water.
