Buying new ballasts
I think my current ballasts have kicked the bucket so I need to buy new ones. I currently have 2-175watt Coralvue ballasts on my 65 gallon mixed reef. I think they suck personally and dont want to buy them again, can anyone recomend a good quality brand that gets results?

I like PFO, been a solid provider for years.
They have all ballast style options (magnetic, HQI, pulse) and I have been real happy with their overall performance...firing bulbs, light output, etc. |

I've used IceCap for years w/ nothing but good things to say. Personally, I have not used PFO, but they have a good rep. here so they are worth considering.

Icecap and Coralvue have a 3 year warranty. Not sure about PFO but they do have a good rep.
Why do you think your coralvue ballasts suck? Mine work great.

I feel that my corals had about 6 months of great growth and then it was down hill, ive had my ballasts for about year and a half- two years and practically my entire tank is dead
