Nominations

It is almost November and that means elections...well SCMAS is no different so we need to get started on ours.

In this thread we will be taking nominations for President, Vice President, Treasurer, PR Liason, and Communications Liason. The current board was nominated as an interim board and therefore according to the by-laws are eligable for reelection. Please, lets be civil in the nomination process and try to nominate responsible members. Any member can be nominated for any position, however the nominee can only accept the nomination for one position. The nominations process will last until 8:00 am on 10-17-07.

This year elections will take place at the Frag Swap since I feel most of our members will show up there at some point in the day. (If our Swap is a success, elections will be there every year.) We will have balots made up for every registered member. (If you have not given your info, you are not registered.) Each ballot will have a sticky tag with your name on it but the voting will be secret.

Lets please be civil in this process and make this an easy process.

It is on www.thescmas.com under the "members only" forum so only official club members that have attended 2 meetings and provided their contact information and signed up for an account at www.thescmas.com can view it.
If you feel you are a member and cannot see that page feel free to say so here and we'll make sure Larry gets you authorised and you get to vote, I want to see as many people vote as possible so please speak up and let us help you in any way we can here.
Chris

John, I see you submitted your info some time ago so I will get Larry to give you access to the members area.

You can also post your nominations in this thread and I will combine them all when it comes election time.
