Foxface and Trigger?

I have a Picasso Trigger. Would a foxface do okay as a tankmate? 54g tank.

i had a niger trigger and yellow foxface together for almost a year.i thought everything was fine, then one day the trigger ate the eye off of the foxface,i tried my best to keep the foxface healthy but he eventually died.foxface is a real cool fish though, one of my favorites.i may try another one when i upgrade my 120 gallon.so im sticking with my original 50/50.it really all depends on if your trigger fish one day decides he doesnt like the foxface.its always a gamble with fish.

both of those fish seem a bit large for a 54g. that humu will grow 10inch and the foxface grows large also.

Yeah, I know. I'm planning a 150g for next year. So I'm mostly wondering if the two would be okay together for a year or so in my 54g, then for life in a 150g.

Only other inhabitants of my 54g are a couple damsels and some hermit crabs. Once I get 150g, I'll be getting a few more fish.
