What is your single, most favorite sps coral?

Ok, I'm sure there have been other threads about this, but I don't care! You must name only one sps coral that is your favorite. DO NOT name more than one. My favorite of all time has to be the Oregon tort. I have been keeping sps off and on for the past 12-13 years and no other acro is more amazing than the Oregon tort. The rich, navy blue coloration is simply unmatched, imo. Is it a true tort? Probably not, but that is what we reefers assoicated it as. Here is a pic of my current frag:

Sang- do you have any pictures of your old colony or is that too hard to bring back up. That thing was so thick.

Hey Mark, you remember it? Cool! Yeah, that thing got really thick. I can't seem to find any pics of it when it was thick, but here it is when I first got it:

Purple Monster, it's a new frag, very little growth but has colored up nicely.

That Oregon was a tree trunk man!!! The Surf & Turf was a big 'un as well.

Favorite, thats a hard one. There is the one you wanted forever to have to get, or have yet to. There is the ugly brown turd that was a diamond in the rough you polished. There is the one you can't keep to save your life and is your unicorn. And there are the ones that have been with you in good and bad times and you have respect for taking all the abuse.

Too tough to decide........why making a shopping list?

I have a shopping list and Tim basically filled 90% of it. Nah, I am just curious as to what people consider their holy grail.

Hmmm, thats a toughy, to narrow it down to just one sps. Theres the sunset monti, undata, and oregon tort. So my favorite coral is the hybid oregon sunset undata MontiTort.

The last time I had a bad case of "gotta have it" was when you could count on you fingers who had the Icefire (Aquascene) Echinata.

Currently, the Tubs Pink Smoothie has that spot. I have been looking for it for a while.

My holy grail.......the freakin' blue back in my Superman digi.

Oops, thats three.....

I would have to say the old school Shawn Bennett Tenuis that I got from Eric @ FF several years ago, I gave the piece away when I moved a few years ago and was tankless for a few months, I would give my left pinky for another frag of it

I really like the Oregon torts too but I'd have to choose the Paletta blue... It's coloration is maybe just slightly second to the OT but I really dig the growth structure

You guys are so much better than me. I have not been able to come up with my "favorite". I think it is because I do not want to make the other ones jealous

Hey James! Nice echinata! I also have a frag of the same one from Tim (TFP) and hope it does great. Is yours the aquascene variety?

I would have to say it's the "Oregon Tort".

But one that I have never had and still want is the "Crayola Plana' off Atlantis Aquariums website.

Yeah, it's from Aquascene. Took about 6 months to really take off. It's good to see you back!

BRISK495 - I have mine placed middle under 10k, but I heard that it will turn more blue higher in your tanks. I think the key is not to move it.
