SunPod MH Fixture

So our PC lights on our 80-gallon reef bit the dust a week ago and we're searching for a new light fixture. We are keeping softies - mushrooms, leather - and some bubbles and a brain. We've been looking at the SunPod HQI Metal Halide Fixture with Lunar Lights. We are limited by the width of our tank because it is a bowfront with a canopy. The light can only be 12" wide at the most. If anyone has had experience with this or has other suggestions, I'd love to hear from you! Thanks!

I have had the 2X150W over my 90 for over a year now. I have had no problems with them.

Be sure to properly acclimate your corals to the more intense light.

This is done by putting several screens over the tank and removing them over the course of a few weeks.

150 on my 29 gallon and i love it. I have one SPS coral at the top of the tank that is doing fine and shrooms, frogspawn and zoas at the bottom that are doing fine also. The only problem i ever had was when i first got it the fan would not turn on with the light. I called the place that i ordered it from and they sent me a replacement fan for free. About an hour after i placed the order for the new fan it started working and has been running like a champ since.
