My A.Lordhowensis growth!

I was psyched to see how quickly this coral is growing. I got it on April 15th, and it looked like this:

Now, it looks like this:

It has around 4 new heads growing!

That's purty fast.

What have you been feeding it and how often?

To be honest, I've kind of slacked on the feeding. I've been feeding it about twice a week, and when I do, I feed it mysis and/or Liquid Life's Marine plankton. I do also feed the tank Phyto Feast pretty regularly. Don't know if that helps...

Twice a week is a lot more than what I feed mine. Phyto does little to nothing for LPS, but good for your pods.

What you're doing is working so keep it up and show more pics along the way.

Once mine comes tomorrow I will feed them about once a day or every other day.

Acanthastrea Lordhowensis 70+ Polyps $1,995.00
the polyp count must be why it costs so much but the link is http://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11...ory=4&x=5&y=14 exactly

I actually paid $80 for 1 polyp. I bought it when the prices were insane like an idiot. Like you said though, now you can get them for $5-$15.
