I think it is rather "wake me up before you go go" looking. If it were blight blue then it would scream Spandau Ballet and pink would be the Furs-still very early 80's looking. I had a Graphix that looked much like it from HSB---circa 1982

Is the beckett easy to get to for cleaning (often)?

It may not need cleaned as often as a typical beckett though since the pump is right there it may force stuff through. If so,

This thing looks expensive and most of the cost is in the ugly orange. It's about 2X the price of clear acrylic...

Is it working?

So how many skimmer do you have over there? You should line them all up and take a pic. Your skimmer collection is worth more than most peoples first car.

Seriously, which is the best skimmer you have ever had in your setup.

Heck, I bet the one he just bought was more than my first car. My first jalopy was $500.

Not counting the Tbird my parents gave me and I totaled, mine was a $200 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus w/4 flat tires out back of Dodge City West waiting on the wholesaler to pick it up. He probably turned it down. Made a nice Road Runner clone eventually though.
