I have a NW150 on a 75g tank with a 50g fuge and 100g stock sump. Probably not enough for the size of my system (recently upgraded the sump size from 20g to 150g!), but it's ok for now. As for the skimmer - buy the gate valve mod ASAP. Trust me, I couldn't get the stupid riser to work at all consistently.

Second, there are number of other mods you can do which will improve the performance of this skimmer, including the mesh mod, boring out the volute, opening the venturi, etc (check out the octopus mods thread in the DIY forum). I haven't done any of these yet, but they will definitely render an improvement if done correctly.

Overall, decent skimmer for the price. If the meshmod and gate valve mod are done correctly, it will definitely improve the performance.

I am also interested in the recirc 110, so if anyone has one, GIVE US A REVIEW!
I'm considering one for my 40g reef.

I have the DNW 110 recirc on my 40B and could not be happier. It is a very nice skimmer IMO for the price. I have not done any mods and it pulls skimate like crazy. I am so glad I went with the recirc. You should too.
