Does anyone have an pictures of there setup?? Im looking for ideas. I want to make something with a clear botton so i can put a light under the bottle to attract the shrimp so i can get them out without the eggs. Any ideas?

Tried it and it sucks. You can't hatch that many in that thing.

THats what i have now but i have them in a 10gal tank to keep them warm. But I had to fill the bottom holder 2 liter with rocks to keep them from floating. so now the shrimp all go to the top

You can take the lids off and glue them to a clear piece of plastic to put the lights on the bottom. The brine will hatch at cooler temps, they just take a little longer. I've never hatched mine submerged in another container to raise the temps and my wife always keeps the A/C cranked down to about 68-70.

all you have to do is buy one of those that the 2 liter twist onto. on ebay i purchased 2 of them for 24.00 delivered. when i am ready to take some shrimp out i cover it with an old shirt wait a while and drain up to a certain point. can still reuse same container and drain until you get to the last shrimp without the eggs left or open ones that you dont want. meleves was the one that i read on and give credit to. check out his site it is awesome.

Yeah, the screw in ones work great. Those are what I use with no problems. I thought PJ wanted to make their own instead of buying one.

As you can see mine are free standing, not submerged, and I don't use heat. They hatch in 18-24 hrs.
