Just completed most of my cuttlefish section of my website. Its got tons of photos and videos for you to view..

Give me some feedback. I just spent 15 hours on it..

Theres some octopus videos on there as well for all you non-cuttle people..

I gotta say that those are the coolest damn things I have ever seen! WHere did you find them? I would love to set up a 40 gallon and get a couple.

That is the ultimate preditor tank!

Very nice! Congrats!

The color changing is so cool! I can not believe they can modify there pigments that quickly. Any special requirements for keeping this creature, or are they pretty hardy?

They have the best color changing abilities of any animal. Very interesting. Some color changing patterns are actually used to "hynotise" thier prey.

If you can keep a good reef, you can keep these guys.

Heres an article about thier requirements.

Thanks!

Cuttles and octopi are cool in different ways.
The octopus can have more entertaining behaviours and "play", but you need to seal the tank and have only 1. Cuttles are more active and out, can be kept in hordes if enough space is supplied and they are not wild caught. Also no need to seal the tank although I can confirm that they can jump out of a tank.

Thanks!

The first batch of eggs seem to be duds. I know there probably a lot more under these rocks, since the cuttles are hanging out in there constantly. Im going to have to tear my tank apart to get to them soon. *sigh*
