please help ID,zoa's very unhappy!

I've tried posting in the reef discussion forum with no luck. I noticed these aiptasis looking things about 2 weeks ago growing out of my rock and killing my zoa's. IT looks like one tiny branch growing out of the rock, which then branches off to 3-4 seperate brances. If anyone can help me identify and get rid of them I would really appreciate it.

I have not added anything new to the tank in months, about 4-5. The only thing out of the ordinary was a nitrite spike about a month ago. I had a reading of about 20ppm. Currently my readings are
nitrite, nitrate, phosphate-0
ph stays steady at 8.3
calcium-420
alk-9

If you're talking about the little root looking things...I don't think they hurt anything.

You may not have noticed them untill the zoas closed up...but something else is probably causing it.

Use a turkey baster to blow the stuff off them. Keep more flow and they should be fine.
