Wow, what a weekend for boxing fans. Its globalization of boxing at its best, IMO.

Joe Calzaghe from welch, UK made an amateur out of USA's Jeff "Left Hook" Lacy. Lacy looked like Tyson when he fought Holyfield.

Miguel Cotto of Purto Rico won again against some guy from Italy, when is he gonna fight someone who has a chance of beating him ? Hatton or Mayweather.

Some unknown boxer in Indonesia won against Mexico's Juan Manuel Marquez. Last month Pac Man of Philipines knocked out mexico's Erik Morales. Any good mexican fighters left ?

And if you like the lower weight class, Vic Darchinyan (australia ?)took out Diosdado Gabi. The flyweights division is a deep division with at so many fighters with legitimate claims to the championship Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, Jorge Arce, Lorenzo Parra, Oscar Narvaez, and 2 more boxers from Japan too I think.

yea , I only caught parts of the fights but have them recorded. Can't wait to catch up. It seems like up until just recently if I wanted to watch a good fight I woud always have to pull out my tape of the gatti vs ward fight from a couple of years ago and watch at least one round before i went back to the live fight.
