The roller coaster at New York New York is fun. And if you like that sort of thing, ride the thing atop the Stratosphere - yeah, there's a ride way up there. Speaking of the Stratosphere, the restaraunt at the top is a great place at dusk as the lights of the strip come on. After dark, I also like the light shows on the canopy that covers Freemont Street (Old town)

For a great scenic drive and to break up the casinos, Red Rock Canyon is only a few miles out of town and there are a lot of pull-offs for photo ops.

For your given amount of time I would SKIP the great shark reef (mandalay bay) you have to walk to the farthest reaches of the hotel and its not at all what I expected (took us 2 1/2 hrs walking from the luxor)

cirque de soiel (sp) shows are awsome. belagio has really cool gardens inside the hotel worth seeing if your there, and the belagio fountain of course...

What hotel are you staying at?

I haven't been there for awhile but do checkout the Bellagio, it's a beautiful hotel and the ice cream shops inside are soooooooo gooooooooooooooooooooood. Also the Shark Attack, or whatever it's called, at the Mandalay Bay was pretty cool from what I remember.

Thanks everyone

My little brother is whining a bit and saying that he's not going to have any fun due to his age.... We're having fun giving him a hard time about it.

This is a last minute family vacation and we're actually staying at the Bellagio. We'll be seeing some shows, walking around and doing the tourist bit I suspect. We'll try and get out to Grand Canyon... helicopter likely... there's so many outfitters it can be tough to choose.

I'll try and push my marine obsession on my family, though it seems the city is low on reef (i.e. coral) related sites. That's okay.

And bring lots of Loonies to sell!

Ah, yeah, you should go see the Grand Canyon. I didn't know you were looking to do stuff that far from town. It really is much more than a big hole in the ground. It's a REALLY REALLY big hole in the ground!

your staying at bellagio??? ok listen to me carefully.

get your room service menu, and under desserts there is the most bestest chocolate cake dessert. but thats not the best part. along the sides are these carmelised bananas.

I stayed at bellagio the next time exclusivly for this dessert. DONT miss out!!!

We stayed for 14 days at the bellagio. they have the largest chocolate fountain in the world. and some really cool cakes inside that same store.

Light the club is there too. (saw alot of hollywood on saturday night late night.)

Good hotel.

thw wynne was ok. high roller gambling only really compared to the other hotels, overpriced. really crazy golf course.

did u look into the new planet hollywood hotel? and the palms would surely be at a 21 yr olds speed

as for the brother.. NY NY is awsome. pizza by the slice arcases, rollercosters

Yeah, The Bellagio is one of my favorite hotels. Don't forget the Hoover Dam, it's a neat sight to see.

I wasn't that impressed with The Wynne either. Seemed like it was trying to hard or something. Cool looking building though.

Don't forget to pop in Vegas Vacation before the trip!
