well my first order with etropicals.com did not go very well.i called monday for 24 peppermint shrimp totalling $60.00.i asked the rep to deliver to fed ex facility so the shrimp wouldnt be in cold truck all day.he assured me this wasnt necessary because fed ex delivers early and they put enough oxygen and heat packs to keep shipment alive for 72 hrs.well fed ex shows up at 2:30 pm and i gotta be to work by 3.i put the box by my tank in basement because i dont want to rush acclimation and the guy said they were good for 72hrs.i get home at 11pm open it up and count 5 dead ones out of 17.i acclimate them and the 12 are fine.i guess i could have just told him i would pick it up but fed ex usually does hit my street by 11 am so i figured it would be ok.still cheaper then buying them at fish store but not what i expected after reading all the positive experiences

Did you call them?? Not their fault Fed-X was late. It should have been delivered before 12:00PM. Etropical will probably do right by you if just pick up the phone and call.

I think 72 hours in the box is pushing the envelope a bit, and I'm surprised they even mention that, other than to calm some peoples' anxiety possibly.
But I agree that this isn't an eTropical issue. If you contact them, they will do something for you. Ordering livestock this time of year is just a roll of the dice, and we have to accept some of the risk. I have an order coming tommorrow from ReeferMadness, and if you know where the weather is headed here in the Northeast you'd be worried too. But as with ETropicals, I know RM will recify anything that might go wrong. Dealing with standup vendors is key if not critical.

i sent etropicals an email last nite at 3am and they resonded in less then 8 hrs giving me a total refund!WOW!!now thats great customer service!!

I missed the point about the missing shrimp. But as you can see, they care of their customers.
