Refractometer
I have a refractometer that i just picked up from a guy on another forum. There are no instructions on how to use it. Until now I've just been using a hydrometer.
The website says to use the scale on the right which is salinity vs the scale on the left which is SG. I think it is auto adjusting for temperature. My device is actually the previous model to the above link. How should I be measuring and where do I keep my salt levels? I assume keeping the salinity at about 35 is 1.025 SG and is a decent place to keep it?

Just like your previous model, place one drop of your water on the sampling glass, lower the cover and look thru the eyepiece. The levels on the left is SG. I keep mine at 1.025.
