I have the same shrimp/goby pair and they are just cool. I had the same clowns but they went in the sump when I got my true percs.

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

oct2274- These zoa's are great, I recently fragged a piece and glued it to the back wall of my 24gal. Its doing well and is starting to spread along the wall.

jpslickorocks- My yellow watchman and randall's shrimp are my favorite by far. I love to watch the shrimp dig new tunnels, shut off old ones, and keep tidy the ones he really likes. The piece of LR that the red zoa's are growing on is hollow and he has made an entrance to get in there. Problem is for him, the emerald crab really likes it too so almost everyday those two start brawling. I can even hear my pistol popping off in the middle of the night all the way upstairs! He's so bad a$$.

I wish my stand was fully viewable from the bottom so I could see the network of tunnels i am sure is down there. He never stops working. They are awesome tank inhabitants. If you go to my home page there is a slideshow of my tank if you would like to look. I really like your setup

jpslickorocks- You just might be onto something there with a viewable bottom through the stand! I'm gonna checkout your homepage.

ChinChek787- thanks for the stamp! I miss getting stamps on my hand in preschool for doing good work. Stamps rule!

random_ryan- thanks for the compliment!

you can look online or at your LFS. also I gave away my shirmp becouse he became a holy terror. lol ate some of my fish .... hopefully he's a model citizen for the person who has him. my wife wanted me to kill him. maybe a reefer might have one that they want to get rid of.

You sure have done a great job. I think you've done a great job of keeping a very open feel to your tank. How old is it?

jason_rohr- IMO, Pets Inc has great deals on a variety of goby/pistol shrimp pairs. Also, I think its important to take into consideration your size tank and the species of pistol shrimp you get. Randall's pistol shrimps stay small and IMO are better suited for a nano tank. Tiger pistols get a little bigger, and it seems to me that bullseye pistol shrimps are the biggest species out of the three. I really like my yellow watchman and randall's pistol pair a lot. But I must say my favorite goby/pistol shrimp pair would be the yasha haze goby and randall's pistol. I know Pets Inc sells the the pair for ~$50 when you mention the Elite Businees Guide.

ZoeReef-Thanks for the compliment. It is 1.5yrs old. And yesterday I took out the Oscellaris Clown pair and put in the true perc that you gave me on Sat. Thanks again!

Very nice setup trentula
I have a 12 gallon Nano also. I think I'm going to take out a few pieces of LR so it has a more open feel like yours. Thanks for the pics!

Hey thanks! I must say for awhile I felt like I didnt have enough LR in the display, but once the corals have grown and filled in the bare spots it looks good. So I guess once again patience has paid off in this hobby.

I'm just barely getting started on my 55gal ....I have my rock cycled, 3 chromis and 2 yellowtail damsels, assorted snails, some baby blue legged crabs, etc.

this is such an in-depth hobby that I have stumbled into.....

LMAO! Thanks lil' bro! You need to post pics of your 29g. Hopefully you can snap a good shot of your tiger pistol and orange spot goby.

hey what's up bro, it was cool to meet you in person at the fish store. The clowns are false percs or oscellaris clowns. I feed them as a treat every few days cyclo-peeze and they love it and I think its helped with their coloring. I have a kinda yellowish "picasso perc", I'm feeding him a lot of cyclo-peeze to see if that will brighten his colors up.
