candycane care

I'm wondering what lighting you suggest. I just placed a 250w mh on a 40 g long and am trying to find the best place to put them. Right now they are about 1/2 way up the water column and placed behind the socket portion of the fixture.

I would put them at the bottom I find they do not require large amounts of light.

Okay, I'll move them to a lower light area. Feeding has been workign well for me. I recently started feeding my small frag that is in a pc lit nano and they appear to be growing a little faster. Thanks for the advise guys! I hope to get these big enough in the next couple of months to give some frags to club members.

Low to Med lighting, towards the bottom. A very hardy coral, I have never fed mine though.I have had a large cluster in a tank for about 3 years and never fed. They grow kinda slow, but you should get a couple extra heads out of it.
