Question ID Please... is this even SPS?

this one has got me stumped. i was thinking Astreopora at first, but now i'm not so sure. the flesh looks a lot like Echinopora but it doesn't act or grow much like it. the skeleton is much stronger and it never sends out sweepers. if you have any other questions about it that'll help LMK and i'll do my best.

Looks like Echinopora to me. Perhaps E. gemmacea or hirsutissima?

It looks kind of like Echinomorpha or at least I've seen a colony for sale labeled Echinomorpha that looked like yours

I was thinking something similar to Echinopora lamellosa?

Here's a link to the CoralSearch page for E. hirsutissma. The corallites and growth look similar to me.

Take a peek at it at night with a flashlight, it's a pretty cool sight if you've never seen it sweep and feed

oh, it's fed... it's just really hard because it's mostly verticle. also, recently i have seen a few sweepers here & there. nothing like my other Echinos but we'll see. i'm hoping it doesn't go crazy w/ sweepers. there are corals near it and i don't have the space to move it yet. =T
