Marco ROCKS!!!

I am very cautious when buying on line. But I have never been so happy in my life... I got my shipment yesterday which was 8 lbs heavier than promised and the rocks inside met and in some cases even exceeded my expectations.

They also shipped out my packages less than 24 hrs after I placed my order.

Awesome! That makes me want to buy a shipment and slowly change out my current rock. The marine center screwed me over on rock

Kannin how many lbs is that? I'm going to get marco rock too but its hard for me to guess how many lbs to get.

If that is the one and only box that your order came in, it would really give me a good idea if I knew the dimmensions of the box and the weight of the box.

I sure would appreciate that info if you could thanks in advace.

Congrats on that Kannin.

The Marco rocks seems popular and attractive option for a new tank. So could you post back here on, how many #s, how you set it up and how it worked out in your tank -- thanx

I ended up ordering from 2part. I got the spaghetti tube ecorox and they are great.

I was going to go with Marco Rocks but I was conversing with Marco via email with questions and he just quit replying to my emails. His loss. I went somewhere else and will recommend that others do as well.

That is a 64 lb box. There were also two 32 lb boxes. total of 128 lbs. I paid for 120. 30 lbs of rubble which it turned out half the box was big rubble. 25 lbs of shelf and 70 lbs of medium rocks which ere mostly on the big side of medium. I am going to use the rock to make a reef like Tiggsy's for a 220 gallon.

I'll keep you posted.

correct... I also didn't get the large rocks. medium, small shelf and rubble.

I would also like to point out that there have been happier times in my life... the day I got married to my lovely wife, Allison and the days that my children were born. Ok honey?

It was $311.00 for 128lbs including shipping. I spent way more for a lot less live rock in my 54 gallon.

So... you want everyone to boycott Marco who has gotten rave reviews in this thread and others? Because he stopped "conversing" with you?

Hmmm!

I've bought from both vendors for my 210.

Marco Rocks, and Eco Rox, are both pretty damn good stuff!!

I like diversity so this is why I wanted some of both.

Gives a nice look !

Also if you want larger pieces for larger tanks. Just write them before your order, then leave a note with your order. I asked for large pieces from both vendors and ended up with about 10 boulders total between both!

I just filled up my new 120g with Marco rocks and I love it. Ordered 100lbs for the tank and I didnt even use about 10lbs because it filled the 120g up! The rock is awesome and so porous. Anyway it took me about 4-5 weeks to cycle the rock but it was well worth it. Make sure you cure it outside somewhere because it will stink to high heaven!

You have to Cure Marco's Rock? I thought it was just dry rock that needed to be washed before it went into your tank.

I was going to buy from Marco rocks, but found a store on Ebay with better deals.

I got 50 LBS of Premium Fiji liverock for $74.00 and paid $64.00 to ship. So $138 shipped to my door for actual liverock instead of Dry Base rock.

Can you walk me thru the process? What is this acid and how do you do it, do you dilute it, and how long?
