Check tonight after the lights go out for an hour and see if there is any polyps. It doesnt like something in there. Perhaps a nipper. A crab, something?

?

it could be that something is irratating your coral. Like that gentalman said above maybe a crab? When you check your coral dont check it as soon as the lights go out check it like 3 or 4 in the morning. Give it a chance or something. The next thing i would do just to be sure is a water change and then see what happens.

And keep in mind that huge PE is NOT always a sign of happy coral. Some corals just don't extend yet grow well, color up nicely and are perfectly healthy.

Do check at night though as polyps should be present for feeding.

Try moving your coral into a more direct current. I had a similar coral with no PE, that I moved over so that it would be more in-line with the returns from the sump and it "blossomed" by the next day.
