Need help right away and real soon!

Hi,

I am currently drip acclimating a new rose bubble tipped anemone to enter into the main tank. My question is a little paranoid, but here it goes!

I was wondering if I should freshwater dip the anemone to remove any ick that could possibly be in the water on the anemone's skin and then infect my fish!

Is this possible?

Thanks

Do not freshwater dip it. It will be fine.

dont dip it, however it still may not be fine, it would definatly not be fine after a dip, and it would achieve very little.

acclimate it and leave it be for a few days then feed it(try).

Thank you very much for the great advice! I put it into the tank without freshwater dipping it and it looks really nice. I can't wait to turn on the lights tomorrow and see the beautiful color!

If your worried about it bringing ich into the tank you could try feeding garlic for a while.
