any pics of AGA rr 210 w/ mega flow?

I ordered one recently, seem like a good value. Anyone have pictures or experience with one? If you buy when they are on sale you should be able to get the mega flow 210 gal. for ~600.

thanks in advance

I have seen a couple and they are very nice, if I remember it is the same foot-print as a 180 just taller?

It will sure make for a nice reef tank and for around $600, you still have some cash in your postet....for a little time

Hey thanks for the picture, looks good. Have any trouble building the stand? Also, how many people did you need to move that tank around?

Well as you can see I still haven't the finished the stand it needs some trim work and build some doors everything was glued and screwed, the tank weight 400 lbs. you really should have about four people moving the tank or three really big man!

Nice tank!!!

I definitively have to get one for myself!. Question for you, How does the top look, you see I currently have a Nature's View tank, which just as the Oceanics have the glass center brace. I'm looking for a tank that will not have this glass center brace because of the effect it has on blocking the light. How does the AGA look?

Thanks,

Omar

Will that type of overflow move more water per hour then the old style?

according to all-glass the flow rate is 1200 g.p.h on the megaflow i am not sure what the old style flow rate was they both have 1" bulkhead for the drain and 3/4" for the return.

mkpaulson, do you know if the back or bottom is tempered, I was thinking of getting one of those or a custom. Obviously, the AGA is alot cheaper, I will need more flow though, would want to drill it for a closed loop.
Thanks, Scott

There is a sticker on the bottom of the tank that says this bottom is tempered glass do not drill, they must temper the glass after they drilled it. I don't know about the back of the tank

Yellowrose, Unfortunately where I live I only have one local pet shop and a Petco. so i didn't have a lot of choices for shopping around for prices I paid $820.00 at my local pet store that was the first of February from what I understand all-glass is running a special on them now.

Here is mine currently under construction, I picked it up back in september when it first came out for $620 drilled. The regular price is $800 , I had to cancel my Oceanic 180 I had ordered the week before cuz I couldn't pass up the bigger AGA for cheaper.
Not to metion the I didn't like the Oceanic bulky overflows which they have now replaced with the AGA megaflow overflows.

Diver, I didn't quite catch what stand you were using. Is that an AGA stand or a custom built one? If AGA how much does it usually sell for?

It is an AGA Modern series stand, comes in Cherry or Oak. I thought they were a bit nicer than the Pine ones. I am also waiting for the trim that goes on the corners.

I cannot give you a price since I bought an entire system and my Visa bill has been out of control. I kept upgrading my tank size and I cannot remember. SOrry

Looks good Steve, I bet it took a ton of rock to fill that up. Did you build the stand for this tank?
