Exclamation Isla Escondido - invincible569's Rimless 300g

What has invincible569 been up to? I have been updating my BLOG for several months now, Isla Escondido. It's very detailed on what I have been through and all my plans for this beautiful tank. As of now, I am going to release the web URL, but the BLOG will still be closed until I feel its ready. I will definitely let everyone know when it has opened.

http://invincible569.squarespace.com/

For now, my tank has finally made it home!! The tank was ordered through Aquarium Environments. Everyone knows of AE by their signature PVC bottom.

The tank Specs:
72x40x24=300g
Starphire - 3 viewable sides
Rimless .75 glass thickness

Im going to write a detailed story on how this tank got here like MakoJ did with his. Everyone enjoys a little story line since it makes you feel like you are there.

My goal is to have a powerheadless, unique open aquascape, with a mixed reef theme. This will come after a while as I have all the rocks ready and start on the plumbing.

I want to thank naka and Jaime for starting me on this new journey.

Sit back and enjoy the ride with me! Here is a sample pic of what Im about to present to you. I have TONS of pics.

I want to say that all of this comical. These guys did not really say or think any of this. The AE guys were very professional in moving my tank in.

Shweet tank!!! Were these the guy's at MACNA in Houston? I remember seeing a display with some awesome tanks that had the PVC bottom.
Can't wait to see it running.

I'd LOVE to know what silicone they are using in there. Its beautiful, but I'd be sketched out about it blowing. Any links to ease my mind?
Cant wait to see your build! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Everyone!

cward, those were the guys.

Marshall, Im sure you can have them hand deliver it to you.

I will move on to plumbing the tank soon. I have to find some fittings and also find some sched 80 1.5" piping (not flex). I also need to do some leak testing.

I dont know if you guys notice, but right behind this new tank was where my 100g in wall was. How easy it was to have someone come out and close off the hole. It feels like it was never there.
