"Get new" feedback....

Is there any way I can do a custom search to "get new" thread/posts? A lot of time the first couple of pages are fulled with club threads, lounge topics and WTB/selling threads that i do not care for. So really i would just like the "get new" from the main forums.

at the top where it has your forums, my RC, and stuff there is also a button that says "get new" just click on that and it will show you all the new posts

You can do a search for new post in just one forum by clicking on the "view unanswered threads in this forum
" text which can be found below the new thread button in each forum.

Yeah that is the button i'm talking about. I'm just trying to increase the signal to noise ratio when you do click it.

example, i just click "get new" and look at the results:
first page:
13 club threads
3 selling threads
9 "real" threads

I don't see that option in each seaction. I only have that when on the main board, i can't do it by section. It just wouldn't show me new posts, only new threads.

so i'm guessing there is no way to do a advance "get new" search. I know some other forums have this broken down so it doesn't include the "off-topic" forums[lounge/club sections].
