PCI Chiller Maintenance?

I have a 1HP PCI chiller in use on my system, it has been in operation for 2 years or so now, and it has never had any maintenance of any kind. It is operating just fine to my knowledge, keeping the tank temperature right where I have it set.

I tried e-mailing PCI about maintenance, but they never responded.

I was just wondering if there is anything in particular I should do. I was considering taking it off line and taking the case off and using compressed air to blow it all out, but beyond that I have no other ideas.

Any suggestions?

Besides keeping the fins clean on a regular basis (vacumm with wet dry or hose extension of vacuum cleaner + compressed air) you can take it off line and clean the cooling coil by soaking in vinegar solution and then rinsing out. But other than that, they need no maintenance unless they have a gfreo leak or something. I cleaned my last chillers cooling coil once in 10 years. Just keeping those fins clean and the dust out of the unit is really about all you need to do.

My manual says that the following is needed:
1. Unplug
2. Remove shroud and blow air through radiator fins.
3. Clean fan motor to free any dirt and debris. Oil with lithium, if corroded use WD-40 first.

Extra Fan motor should be lubricated bimonthly.

From manual of CL 250
