I agree with Zeppelin, unless we get FLOODED for a long period of time, these Ultras and A's shouldn't lose their value. Not that I'm in it for the money but I've bought the "hot" coral before when it lost 75% of its value a year later.

I should not even be posting this because it does not do the coral justice.

I actually like this one the most. Solid bright orange with solid bright green inside.

Couple cool ones, I hope they color up. I'm switching to 400W Radiums so we'll see.

BRIGHT

A couple that look nice but not "ultra". They seem to have some promise as well

I had my first ones come in yesterday. Pics were taken a couple hours after I put them in the tank. They colored up even more after a full day of light today.

they look very very happy... you mind sharing some other info about them that will help us keep our Aussies thriving, happy, and growing?

Thanks...

Marvin: Those are awesome colonies! How long have you been growing them?

I'm almost positive that your pic # 2 is the large colony version of my pic # 2 under different lighting. That's what the centers are like on mine also. I can't wait for these things to grow out! Where do you place your acans in the tank?

Thanks...

I bought all of them as mini colonies... personally, I like to buy frags more than 10 heads.. it looks better in my tank IMHO... all the Aussie lords are on the sand bed... my tank is only 18" deep and being pounded by 250w MH about 6"-8" from the water surface.... I run straight 14k Phoenix... I will be installing (2) 24w T-5 for actinic supplementation... I hope I regain some of the colors I once had on some of these..

hope that helps...

Thanks again..

Marvin

Did you get all these frags from FraggleReef? Could you give the names of each one that he has them named. I have a order I am putting in and wondered how your photos compared to the photos you have on your site. I know I can't get the rainbow one but wondered about the others.

Had them all btw 6months and 2years

4' tank x18" deep
250w MH 14K cheapies - about $30 per bulb, 6" from water
Barebottom with low flow - 1 2000lph powerhead
No feeding as i havent got the time
heavy fish load atm

SPS do not survive in this system right now due to water quality

I think the best part of these Australian corals is that you do not have to photo shop them at all to make them look vibrant as they are truely some of the nicest corals I have seen.
