Don't get me wrong, I don't want to pay a couple thoudsand for coral either. What you're saying is completely true and we all know it too well.
However, without the internet, we wouldn't see half of the corals. We wouldn't have any info, or any of such exchanges we are having now. We would only see what scientists give us in books, which is not much at all. Think of it this way, diamonds have been selling for hundreds of thoudsands of dollars forever without the internet. To me, it's worthless but I still have to pay thousands for it. It's business. There's always going to be expensive products and less expensive products to satisfy all customers. If not acan, it'll be something else next time.
My first acan cost me the price of a blasto. My first blasto was the cost of a favia, and my first red yuma came in a bunch on a large rock and sold for the same as a discosoma.
Moral of the story, every beatiful coral will have its turn, so collect them before they get expensive!
