Jawfish sandbed depth

Just looking for a few opinions, preferably from those who own them, is 4.5 in. going to be deep enough for a Yellow headed jawfish?

I've had jawfish in a tank with ~2.5-3 inches crushed coral. They seem to like it just fine. 4.5 inches of sand should definitely be good for them.

I have a pair of PHJ, run approx a 4-5 in sandbed...

Both of them made their home based in/under a piece of Holey Rock.

I have a shallow sand bed, and my yellow-headed removes it all, and prefers the glass bottom!
