Looks just like when I was there! I used to travel to Kwajalein and it is even better diving than off Majuro! The Kwajalein atoll is not a public set of islands and therefore the diving is unbelievable.... and cheap! unlimited tanks of air, and cheap cheap boat rental - just pay gas

i never saw a shark when i went diving but i knew they were there because my family had seen them on previous dives. I think it's freaky when you know they are there but don't see them.

I was waiting for them to show up out of the blue of the ocean swimming right for me.

Very nice pics. That's right. It's Kwajelein Atoll. I'd been there for a total of 6 times back in 96-98 and majority of the guys from the ship enjoyed snorkeling, scuba diving and watching the coconut crabs. I miss that place.

We lived on Kwajalein for three years and left in 2003. It's truly wonderful diving. Nothing like doing a night shore dive on a WWII shipwreck. We were fortunate enough to live a whopping 150 feet from the lagoon. Of course on an island thats only half a mile wide at the widest point no one lived very far from the water.

I agree-- stunning photos! I just came back a couple weeks ago from a trip to the Great Barrier reef-- had a great time. I saw a couple white tips and a black tip (I think it was the same one I saw three times). I love seeing the small sharks, but I wouldn't want to meet their larger cousins

Here are some more pics for you guys thanks for all the great comments, I had a blast in the Marshalls and I can't wait to go back the last few of these were in the 150ft range so the colors are not the best but I was chasing Helfrici Firefish and Mystery wrasses and I could not get the light I needed.

Any recommendations on cheap airfare to the Marshall Islands, and what time of year to go. I checked around a little, and the airfare I found was about as much as my entire trip to Hawaii!!!!

I was planning to got to the Marshall Islands this year until I saw the airfare. After you get there, it's cheap as can be though.
