I got a hold of Mike at Reef Specialty, He is going to contact CoralVue about the wattage. He also stated he will be getting a kill a watt and will be testing the wattage pull on the 200 and 250.

YES and no. An impeller design has alot to do with watt draw. Depending on the drag it can increase or decrease a given wattage. Skimmer water volume/ head presure also plays a part if watt draw. Do I think there is a big difference in the two, no not really, but it is always good to know.

USC,
as an example, if you are familiar with the maxi mod, that can alter the wattage quite a bit depending on the parts used.
I would agree that the difference is most likely negligible.

the real question is "Can it skim the paint off the walls?"
