Hard to tell for sure but they look like bristleworms. As long as you don't have a ton of them they are fine, if you have a ton of them it mostly due to over feeding so cut back there. As they act as part of your cleanup crew the more they have to eat the more they will reproduce. Some people dont like them just because they way they look. If you decide to get rid of them do not just pick them up or you will find out why they are called bristleworm. If you do ever touch one make sure you have so white vinager handy and pour that over the area.

Longnosed Hawkfish. Maybe a line wrasse if they are small. Like I have picked some out by tweezers mayself. If you have so many they are of concern remember to watch how much you feed.

I heard that coral banded shrimp like to munch on them, but I can't positively verify that.

I do know that after I used a turkey baster to move a few bristleworms from my sump to my display (good cleanup crew), I haven't seen any in the display since I added my two mated coral banded shrimp.

Leave them alone - they are beneficial to your aquarium. they eat uneaten foods and detritus. They will not harm coral or go after living fish.

thanks thats what i needed to hear. As long as they are no threat to my corals i am fine with them. Just wanted to make sure they weren't something to be concerned about.
