As Seen on TV (reviews)

So everybody has seen those amazing products that make the crowd go crazy!

Pasta express
Oxy Clean
Sauna Belt
Urine Gone

And all these for just $19.95.....plus if you call in now you also get the embarrassement of someone finding it and laughing at you.

But who actually has one of these devices and what has your experience been?

BTW if you can't remember whether or not those doggy steps came from a TV add here is the official website:

Same here. I know, I know, I should never have allowed Beerguy into my house.

However, we do have a FlavorWave oven and that thing works very well.

My Flowbee is still doing professional-looking haircuts after all these years.

(Except never try to trim those other areas with it. OUCH!)

I bought some OxyClean from Bed Bath and Beyond once. I actually thought it worked until I tried to use it to clean off some spilled Kool Aid from a couch cushion....and found it only spread the stain out. Crummy stuff if you ask me.

Oxyclean helps but it's no miracle cleaner. That pasta express looks like a joke, but millions of people order it. I thought it would make a great sprouter container tho! My friend bought the eggstractor, it was a piece of crap. Not sure how they make it look so easy on tv. I buy a lot of infomercial junk! LOL, some of it's good and others not so. I bought Patrick a flowbee, and he uses it when he gets tired of his hair being too long! Of course he has to cut about 6 inches off first. Best thing I ever bought was a foodsaver, and a Nesco jetstream oven. I'd get another oven if I could find one. I am the gadget queen.

I tried Oxyclean. Sucks.

Water by itself cleans better which is the only reason Oxyclean even remotely works, because you mix it with water!

A friend's parents have the Tony Little Gazelle. I was previously convinced the Gazelle was a vaporware ad-campaign by Geico.

I bought the oxy clean to, junk, spreads the stain . I started with a 6" stain of soda and now have a 12" stain, it's hidden under a rug now.
Has anyone seen the commercial for that new mop?
The one with the folds in it, shows the guy picking up all kinds of stuff with it and hair?
Then the moron goes and washes it all in the kitchen sinK?
Geze. Makes me want to puke every time I see it.

I bought the soldering iron "Cold Heat" from Walgreens for $19.99.

that thing is POS!!!! DO NOT BUY. I tried for over an hour to make a good clean solder, but it was impossible.

Oh and I tried to the little test that they show on tv. after I tried to make a solder I touched the tip to see if it was cool......NOT! I was running to the faucet to run my finger under cold water.

IT did cool down quickly, but not instantly like on tv. It was still VERY hot right after you make a solder!!!

Thumbs down for Cold Heat

Pasta Express? No. You cannot get the water hot enough, and the top will come off and scald anyone in the vicinity. It doesn't even function as a good strainer: it will dump the half-cooked spaghetti in the sink. As for using it to cook shellfish---title it Scampi alla Salmonella....

Do not use Oxyclean on children's clothes, particularly underwear. The residue will burn the daylights out of the kid.

oxyclean works extremely well on organic spills....like wine or grape juice. as long as the spill is fresh, oxyclean oxidizes it away within minutes.

Oxyclean never got hubby's whites whiter, pit stains still there on all his tshirts.

Friends have the set it and forget it, say it's a majar pain to clean and heats the whole house to about 400 degrees.

I bought the container organizer thing at Walmart and I love, love, love it. Even the kids can figure out how to stack bowls with it...lol
