I hear ya! I was out there about 2am bringing in a couple of items that I knew would be carried away.

Now it's nothing but frozen tundra out there!

My exterior doors all have frozen hinges. LIghts hanging down off the house. Lots of fun.

My seven foot tall blowup Santa is knocked over on his side right now... and I'm not even going to bother fixing him until the wind dies down a little... but I am happy to report that my four foot tall inflatable snowman is doing just fine.

Last night I lost power at 2 AM, the gurgling tank woke me up. ComED had the power back on a couple of hours later. I did not want to get the generator out. Darn wind ruining my sleep!

Agreed. Didn't sleep worth a darn last night. Confuser powered down for some reason and the silence without the fans going was deafening...offset only by the howling gusts outside.

Happy early X-mas to those that participate. Chanukkah is all over for me but I still celebrate X-mas with the wife and my uncles wife and of course we all join in on the festivities.

Sushi is the dish I am bringing to pass as well as some barbecue meatballs. Time to loosen the belt a couple of notches and double up on the cholesterol meds.

Sushi is great, as long as it's cooked correctly !!!!! (In light of having to eat sushi I'll stick with chubby)

Sushi isn't always raw. Try a philadelphia roll. Smoked salmon and whipped cream cheese with rice. Also california rolls which are cooked (steamed) crab, avocado, and cucumber. Ebi roll which is shrimp.

Yummy!

Last night I came back from Dells (driving @ 35 miles/hr on I-90) after a weekend stay to find out that my Storm door was half way broken, hinges bend and glasses broken.
