help with t-5 ho setup

i have a 90g mixed tank with even clams doing well plus some acros. currently i have 2 vho super r actinics 46.5" and 2 t5ho aquascience 15k 48" (nice suggestion on those to grimm). i want to do away with the vho's and put 4 more t5ho's. does anyone sell a ballast to put 4 bulbs? hellolights sell the retro kits which i have but 2 bulbs per. i do want to keep my 15k but want bluer colors since either my vhos are old or just dont do it. i purchased them closed to new so the guy said but who knows. what choices do i have for 4 more bulbs? and what order to run them? so far the idea anyways is, super r actinic x2, Reef Blue Actinic- Aqua Medic, TRU Actinic, plus my 2 15k aquascience that i already have. by the way i have tru 10k that i removed and put away but they were too yellow for me. i will take any suggestions since i am at planning stage right now. thanks

An Icecap 660 will run 4 54 watt t-5's. It will actually overdrive them to 80 watts. It's likely the most widely used ballast there is, with a great reputation and excellent customer service. It's very hard to beat URI VHO actinics. (Don't know if that's what you're running or not. I'm in the process of switching from a 6 bulb (630 watt) vho configuration over a 75G to t-5's. I'm keeping the vho actinics and running them on an icecap 430. I am installing 4 54 watt t-5's to run on an icecap 660.

yes i am running URI VHO actinics and was wondering of the same effect could be achieved with t5's plus then i could do 6 instead of 4 bulbs total. room does not allow more than the 2 vho's and the 2 t5's

You could run 6 t-5's and use t-5 actinics. It won't be exactly the same. It will be brighter. If your tank is 18" in depth you can fit 4 t-5's and 2 vho actinics, or 6 t-5's. Either combination will work over an 18" space. If you want a bulb combination suggestion, post to GrimmReefer on the t-5 Q&A thread. He knows how different bulbs will look when placed together.
