Acrylic Question

A frag tank made of 1/2" cast acrylic 48" long , 24" deep , and 14" tall . Would it need any bracing , around the top , or not ?

Ted

bobbet , Thanks for the input . This is a 23.5 " tall tank , and I want to cut it down to 14" tall . I want to use it for a frag tank . I guess I'll have to brace the top again , after I cut it down .

Thanks , Ted
