My anenome split

All my water parameters are in great shape....lo and behold I have 2 bulb tip anenomes now (overnight) and they look exactly alike and healthy...about 2 inches away from each other..

I've looked everywhere and see that this might be bad (but water quality okay)...and I really had no indication that it was coming....it likes to be on the bottom with its foot under a small ledge on the rock and the rest of it out but I looked at it every day and really saw no sign of stress....

anyone heard of this??

Bubble tips will do this and its quite common. What color is your Bubble tip?
If its a rose colored one I may be interested in a trade. ;-)

I think one of my RBTAs is getting ready to split again. It Split 3 ways about 2 months ago.

Are there any signs of an upcoming split, or does it just happen?

The most amazing Anemone/Clownfish thing I've ever seen was a shipment of Anemones came in and an Orange Skunk Clownfish popped out of the mouth of a carpet anemone. He took the entire trip from collection to holding tank in the gullet of an anemone.

One of my frogspawns did this, split into 2 mouths, grew back together, split again, grew back again, he's finally gotten with the program though and has grown new skeletal material for the new heads. I just got a new RBTA from BigScott not too long ago, it split within a couple days of being put in the tank. Both specimens have doubled the orginal size in less than a month. Pretty cool, now if only the clowns would host in em....ugh!
