small grate covering pump is in need of replacement, I recently changed the impeller assembly.

JimBob, I have read quite a bit on these things, and for your standard 6-foot 220 gallon, a single one is sufficient. You could always get the extender for it, but from my understanding it is only needed for longer tanks.
