chances a g. smithii will break glass?

ok the tank that i plan on the mantis going in is glass. i know i've heard stories that some can break glass when full grown, but what are the chances it actually will? the glass is 3/16 thick. so its not all that thick. Should i go for an acrylic tank, or do i have nothing to worry about?

I don't re-call anywhere where it says that a G.Smithii can break glass... You should be safe.

not a chance. if you want you can line the bottom of the tank with strips of acrylic, but I dont think it will make any difference at all.

Shouldn't be a problem. I keep all of my mantis in glass tanks.
