FS: 180g tank, stand, canopy (St. Louis, MO)

This is for pickup only. I cannot hold it for you; I need the tank, in particular, out within the next couple of weeks.

$500 -- 180 All-Glass Megaflow tank. Dual overflows, black trim, black adhesive background. Great condition, no scratches. 72" x 24" x 24". In use since August 2006.

$1300 -- Custom walnut stand & canopy. This may seem pricey compared with the pine setups you'll find in an LFS... there is a reason. I will store this if I cannot sell it; this price is non-negotiable. Stand and canopy were custom-built to my specs by a professional woodworker. They are made of solid walnut, finished with a clear finish to show the natural beauty of the walnut. Every inch was hand-made, even the trim and cabinet doors. The stand is 36" tall; I think the canopy is 14" tall, high enough to comfortably accommodate metal halide lighting (which it currently is doing). This stand and canopy are my pride and joy; they are beautiful! There are 4 x Panaflow fans installed in canopy (wired together to variable current adapter); there are also 2 x 24" 75w VHO installed inside the front of the canopy, which are included in the price. The canopy opens at the front and the back and has a sliding feeder door at either end.

Thanks, hounddog01. It is painful to part with it. I spent several months stand-shopping and then talking with carpenters, then finally settling on a carpenter and working through the project with him. I just love it. The carpenter felt that it was one of the best pieces he'd ever made. Making the feeder doors slide rather than swing was one of his ideas; he made the sliding tracks of wood as well.

I've received a couple PMs concerning shipping, delivery, or meeting people halfway.

If you want to arrange & pay for shipping, by all means that works for me. Note that this is some heavy stuff, however. The tank weighs something like 400 lbs. The stand is also very heavy.

I do not have truck. If you want to pay a large sum of money (enough to cover gas, hotel + make it worth their while) for delivery, I may be able to find a truck & a couple of guys willing to deliver or meet you.

I also have 150+ lbs of live rock for $400. It is from various sources, lots of cool shapes, swim-throughs, etc, with some softies growing here and there.

Your tank is great, stand is awesome and so is price. If I were closer I'd have truck in your driveway. Got to be somebody in Mo wanting a great deal on this great tank combo. Good luck.

What part of STL are you from? West COunty, South County or just a town near STL?

I live out in KC (Lees Summit) so that live rock looks rather tempting although I wouldn't need near that much for my 58 gallon tank

etrigo29 -- I'm in St. Charles, northwest of STL (north of Hwy 70 off 370). I'm only looking to sell the rock all as 1 lot right now.

jdpierce21 -- Sorry, I've made some room!

I have a pending sale on the tank only (not the stand/canopy). That is supposed to happen this coming weekend — if it does not, I will contact you cgarza. Do you come down to STL every week?

Tank — PENDING
All LR — PENDING
Stand & canopy — PENDING

Still For Sale (PICKUP ONLY):

$500 — 3 x 250w DE ReefOptix III pendants w/Icecap electronic ballasts. (3 x Phoenix 14k bulbs in use since Aug 2006)

$150 — ASM G3 protein skimmer

$150 — Iwaki MD100RLT return pump. I bought this used, and it could probably use a good cleaning, but it is an absolute beast and a workhorse.

$125 — Typhoon III 5-stage RO/DI unit

$75 — 100-gallon Rubbermaid stock tank for sump. I have this in my basement, plumbed up to the tank through the wall.
