Tunze DOC Skimmer 9010 ($250) or 9015 ($350) / NYC
I am selling my Tunze DOC skimmer...
with the 9010 cup for $250 (retail = $327.44) with the 9015 cup for $350 (retail = $427.33) with both cups for $400 reason for sale: upgraded to Deltec Turbo 1060S ($1500 skimmer) General information from Tunze.com The model series of the Comline DOC skimmers has been developed for an effective and modern protein skimming process in marine biotopes from 200 to 2,000 litres (52 to 528 US gal.). They stand out for their compact dimensions at the same time ensuring a high foam cup capacity, and producing a very high throughput on account of their air capacity of 650 or 1,300 l/h (171 or 343 US gal./h), for example, depending on the model. They can be placed directly in the aquarium or in cabinet systems with a variable water level. At an immersion depth of 240 to 290 mm (9.4 to 11.4 in.), the Comline DOC skimmer models can be placed easily and discreetly in the aquarium directly. The inlet of fresh water can be set at between 5 per cent and 70 per cent. They can also be used in aquarium cabinets with variable levels from 100 to 280 mm (3.9 to 11 in.). The accessories supplied have to be used to ensure the generation of a constant internal water level. The water circuit is totally open and operates at a fresh-water inlet of 100 per cent; depending on model, a water throughput of 1,200 l/h or 2,400 l/h (317 US gal./h or 634 US gal./h) is achieved, distinctly improving the gas exchange in the aquarium. In case of operation in aquarium cabinets, the cartridge core on the outlet pipe ensures bubble-free outgoing water. Skimmer cup and foam reactor are one unit in all TUNZE® DOC skimmers. Every cleaning of the skimmer cup leads to the reactor being cleaned at the same time, and thus a very constant and efficient foam production is ensured. During the cleaning process, the Hydrofoamer remains operational and automatically flushes the jet and the air passage. Delivery condition: Completely ready for mounting with numerous holding devices like in Comline Filter or Reefpack 500. The skimmer cup with a large capacity also contains the foam reactor; easily detachable. Compact Comline housing protects the interior and the reactor against light and algae. Can be combined perfectly with other Comline components. TUNZE® Hydrofoamer These especially developed components consists of a pressure pump which is directly linked to a high-performance jet. The Hydrofoamer generates large volumes of fine air bubbles; diameter between .1 to .4 mm (.0039 to .015 in.). For the air capacity of 650 l/h (171 US gal./h), the unit consumes only 21W of energy. Four suction feet ensure good stability in aquarium cabinets. Water inlet with protective grating. Water outlet for aquarium cabinet version, with foam cartridge for bubble free water. Air control to set the moisture of the foam. DOC Skimmer 9010 (9010.000) Recommended for aquariums up to 1,000 litres (264 US gal.) of salt water. Dimensions: L125 x W113 x H418 mm (L4.9 x W4.4 x H16.8 in.) 230V/50Hz (115V/60Hz) 21 W, Water throughput: 1,200 l/h (317 US gal./h) Air capacity: 650 l/h (171 US gal./h) Skimmer cup volume: .7 l (.18 US gal.). Equipped with the accessories for internal and aquarium cabinet operation. $327.44 USD DOC Skimmer 9015 (9015.000) Recommended for aquariums up to 1,500 litres (396 US gal.) of salt water.
