best way to frag this cap?? thanks
well my atlantis pink polyp cap is about 1/2" from touching my tables (yellow in pic) base so im trying to figure out the best way to frag the cap in a clean manner... i dont wanna mess it up but i cant get it out of the tank since its adhered to 2 rocks now...
in most cases id let the two touch and see what happens but i like both of these corals alot my table coral has gotten really big and this cap is really cool and a fast grower i expect it to be within touching range in about a week... so any help on the best way to frag it nice and clean pretty much the lower 1"+ area.. heres a pic and thanks for any fraggin suggestions!

use something sharp to score the cap, make several passes until it is scored deep, then break the piece right off at the score line.once you frag it send the frag my way

usually in nature the 2 coral will learn how to steer away from each other. If you want the natural look just let it go then observe. You can always frag it if it didn't move away from each other.
