just wanted to share...

i keep practicing my photography of my tanks...and i think these 2 pics turned out pretty well...
porcelain crab...

and my yashahatasommatortheother...or yaki as i call him
(hes about an inch and a half long)

My tank is cool. It has light bulbs a big bubble maker thingy and little boxes that blow water. It is way cool.

um...im not sure.. my lfs that i get corals from (that is really knowledgeable) had them labeled as australian sommat or the other.. as you can tell im not good with names..but it has hard tubes about 1/2 to 3/4 inch across...

ty... i did take pics of for a living for years...specializing in pet portraits...part of my secret is...use a HUGE file on the cam...the largest you can. then you do your best to focus from a distance on what you want and use the flash...
then zoom in on your subject and crop out the rest!!!
i also darken the images slightly (flash blows things out) and increase contrast slightly... a tripod or stable surface helps to balance the cam on too!
yall did so well with the duncanthingy... do yall know what this is?

Mushrooms? Does it close? Does it have a stem? Kinda hard to tell. Maybe a different kinda zoo/paly mixed in with others?

it doesnt close...they look like that all the time. they have multiplied, (i even got up in the middle of the night with a flashlight to see if they were different

im thinking of removing some of the polyps around them so i dont lose them to crowding...what is the thought out there?

ps. youre welcome!... i cant wait to see pics!
