Tough to post in my thread

Lately, I've noticed that each time I try to post to my 280g thread, it errors out and I have to try two or three times until the post is accepted.

I thought since the threads are split at 1000 posts, it helps avoid issues, but it almost feels like my thread needs to be defragged. Crazy idea, right? Can you see if there is anything obviously wrong? I can post to other threads quickly, and while it acts like a server-is-being-slammed situation, it tends to be with my thread primarily.

Here's the message I get in FireFox often.
