My clown being hosted by a fuzzy mushroom

I have this clown for almost 6 years and has sticked with me wherever I moved. I just noticed that she like one of my fuzzy mushroom. Now, I feel guilty not buying my fish an anemone. Once I completed my home remodelling and setup my 180 gal tank, I promise to by him.her a large BTA.

My Clarkii pair has been hosting my hairy mushrooms for a long time now and seem very happy with them.

Mine host in a Xenia. I really have no idea if they know the difference. An anemone is a lot of upkeep and potential danger that I don't want to confront yet.

Yeah, crazy, the clam doesn't flinch with the clown, but when my hand goes nearby, it slams shut!

Mine did that too. It took them quite a while to take to the Xenia. I think it had to do with their growth. They had little interest in hosting when they were juveniles.

Clowns are very weird. My gf has a 6g nano, her baby false perc host a torch coral, hammer, and a few different mushrooms.

In my 37g mixed reef they host 2 different frogspawns, a torch, and my male sleeps in the bottom of an orange cap. Never host my green BTA anymore, although the female sucks on the tips of the anemone from time to time. These fish have so much personality.

Best regards.
