Korallen-Zucht T5 fixtures???

Has anyone heard of these t5 fixtures? I read in one of the other forums that they have t5 and led light systems that produce shimmer and are of good value. Does anyone know where to find more info on them?
Thanks

You can do a search or ask Grimm reefer or Hahn they will probably know.If it German then its not cheap.Be prepared to spend alot of money.I was looking into some German T5 only fixtures and they cost a pretty penny.I would have bought grotech but for a tank my size its to much money.I am still waiting for the ATI fixtures. The ATI are not cheap either but they cost alot less than the Grotec fixture.

Call these guys, there the zeovit supplier in the us. They get in the zeovit skimmers and what not, there just always sold so quick they don't put them on there online store. They also are the only people who sell tehre zeovit t5's. So ask them about there fixtures as i'm sure they will know something.

Those are nice I thought they were the grotech lights. They are very expensive from the price list that I had seen.It was way over my price range but they are some very nice fixtures.

Thanks for the info guys, however if no added shimmer from the led's than will probably go with aquatinics t5's.

Does it overdrive the bulbs, and if so by how much on a 54w?

Thanks

i dont believe so, it uses osram ballasts iirc...from what i've read the increase in out put is from the active cooling and high quality reflectors.

The Power Module doesn't overdrive the bulbs, but they claim there's some magic happening in their ballasts that make the bulbs perform better than average T5s. The KZ stuff is really nice, they always have high quality products. ATIs are nice too, but be prepared to wait 5-6 months for your fixture. Aquatinics is of the same caliber as ATI and KZ, and while I think they are a little backlogged, you may wait a week or two...

he's alive... you must be quiet these days...

i just hope aquatinics can step up and create a fixture that looks as good as sfiligoi, kz, ati..

I've asked this before, but since aquatinics is on the line...will the constellations work or anything on a 28 in deep tank(by everything I mean clams and sps)? Or are solar flare recommended for that?

nomadnumber29,

Either the Constellation or Solar Flare would work on your tank. Would it be 28" down to the sand bed or a 28" deep tank?

Thank you,

Tom

Tom,

28in deep tank...plannig on having 1.5 to 2in sand bed. Just dont want to have any limitations. Also, icecap ballast and endcaps can be purchased later to upgrade the constellations right.

The constellation can not be upgraded. The endcaps in the Solar Flare are the same in the Constellation

You have to excuse my ignorace but if the endcaps are the same, why is it not possible to upgrade the ballast?

The IceCap ballasts will not fit into the Constellation fixtures.

Thank you,

I can also vouch for the support that Aquactinics (Tom) provides. While I'd think you'd see that with KZ stuff, I'm not so certain that you will see the same with ATI seeing that they are having supply issues...
