flame angel origin

My LFS has a flame angel originating from Hawaii. From what I've read, these specimen are from deep waters. Will I stress the fish by subjecting it to a life in a relatively bright SPS tank (24" deep with 250w 14 MH's) ? I realize the risk possed to my current invertbrates but I'm willing to gamble.

My flame angel does just fine right under a 150w MH pendant. It loves to play around in the high flow near the powerheads, and has only bothered my zoanthids to date. It picks at them more for fun than anything, I think. For this reason I know I would not have success with a clam.

I'd be quite leary of a HI label on a flame. Not many are caught and most don't end up going this way but rather west to Asia. It's most likely a Christmas Island one that is being labelled as HI since it's being sold by a HI wholesaler. That being said, they can range from deep to quite shallow. They're seeing them as shallow as 20' in PNG currently.
